No Manners

What has happened to children these days? I mean, I know the world is getting bad, but my goodness! You can't walk down the street without some idiotic heathen shouting obsceneties or getting smart for no reason. When I was a little kid, I never talked back to people older than me...unless it was my sister or something. 2 years older, and they were considered worthy of respect even if it meant I was 5 and they were 7. What happened to that basic human fear of older people? You ask a kid to quit beating up on another kid, and they not only continue, but cuss you out while they're doing it. It's insanity. If I wasn't trying to display the fruitages of the spirit, I might have shown them a real beating. Arg.

SO, I didn't get many pictures taken. I couldn't think of anything to say or post. Oh well, this will have to do. It is from this past week sometime. I decided to wear my new Sounds hat.

For those of you who don't know, it's the Nashville Sounds...our minor league baseball team. I went to see them play on Wednesday, I think it was. It was the first baseball game I've ever been to. The field seemed soo much smaller than I imagined it. I'm a hockey and football girl, myself.

This also reminds me that I wore my Sounds hat out in public the other day..backwards!! Now, before you fall dead from shock, take it easy. I only went to the store. I had forgotten though, how nice it feels to wear my hat backwards wherever I wanted and not care what anyone thought. I used to do it all the time. Where is it written that girls must prim and proper at all times? I mean really, I like to skateboard! I also like to get dressed up and go to dinner parties. Neither should make me a tom-boy, or a girly-girl. I just am what I am. I like to wear baseball caps once in a blue moon. My mother thinks that is weird and makes fun of me for it. I just think, this is me, so the world can deal with it.

And that's my rant for the evening. I have to take a shower and go to bed so I can make it to one of the meetings in the morning. I'm looking forward to going...without my baseball cap this time. :o)
