Today...

Today, I will be doing schoolwork and lots of it.

I will also later in the evening be going to an anniversary dinner for Michael and Emily. It's so weird to think they've been married for a year already. It seems like only yesterday that I was late to their wedding, stood outside the kingdom hall doors watching and as she walked down the isle she waived to me. We always laugh about that. :o) Good times, good times. And their baby will be born in April! As strange as it may sound, I think being friends with them and seeing what they've gone through getting married and getting ready for a baby has made me grow up a little. Just seeing a real example of how that goes instead of the sometimes media-induced thoughts of how it is really has made me think more about what I actually want to do with my life. It has also taught me a few things about how people should work together in a marriage. Michael and Emily have a really great relationship and I'm very glad to have them around to learn from. So anyway, not that they'll read this, but happy anniversary!!

In other news, not that anyone cares, but I got new dress shoes for $10.00 last night. I was extremely happy about that. Brought to me by Shoe Carnivals Buy 1 Get the 2nd Pair 1/2 Off, and by Julie Boyd. She got some really neat boots, too. If they were my size I might have to steal them.

Well, I've got to go study. Take care and be good kiddies...I'm gone.

A Late Night Entry

"Good times for a change
see, the luck I've had
can make a good man
turn bad

So please please please
let me, let me, let me
let me get what I want
this time

Haven't had a dream in a long time
see, the life I've had
can make a good man bad

So for once in my life
let me get what I want
Lord knows it would be the first time
Lord knows it would be the first time"

The above lyrics are from "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" by The Smiths. It's a very short but very good song. I've been listening to the Pretty In Pink soundtrack on which I discovered this song over a decade ago. I love this song, it has so much feeling. I was thinking about how true that song is to me, how much I feel like that. That song really applies to me right now.

I'm highly delighted in my purchase of a SpongeBob SquarePants keychain with my arcade tickets. Julie and I both got a SpongeBob keychain, actually. They're quite rockin....

"Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea?
Spongebob Squarepants!
Absorbent and yellow and porous is he!
Spongebob Squarepants!"

So, anyway, yeah I've got to go to bed now. It's too late to be up writing crazy stuff on here, and I have too much to do tomorrow for that. But until next time, enjoy your 80's music!

A While Wasn't Very Long

Well, I've been nicknamed Larie now...brought to you by Renee Cox. At least it's my bowling nickname and not one that's used all the time...I hope.

I was trying to play "Zombie" by The Cranberries tonight, that's such an awesome song. I was having fun being all loud and then my mom told me to turn it down. I still had fun after that, but it's more fun when it's deafening.

Sorry for the short entry, folks, I've got to go to bed. Leave your comments and your thoughts but not your used chewing gum below. Goodnight.....or Goodmorning
